Romans 14:12 "So then each of us shall give account of himself to God." If we were to back up to verse 10 we would hear that “we all will appear before the judgment seat of Christ”. Because of that divine appointment, we will be held liable for our words and actions. It has been said that if we spent more time cleaning our own house we would not have time to notice the dust on the neighbor’s end table. I also heard it another way. How can a wide receiver fuss about the quarterback overthrowing a pass when he don’t catch the ones he throws to him? If we would realize that our case could be next on the court docket we would not be as concerned about the case before us or the one after us.
