Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our LORD. Quite possibly the most appealing aspect of The love of The LORD Jesus Christ is its tenacity. No where else can we find a love that we cant shake such as is the case with Jesus. I remember my brother-in-law Brandon Gibbs sharing with the inmates of Lancaster Correctional institute in central Florida this very fact. The young mens actions had caused them to be separated from so many things that they loved and that loved them. Brandon reminded them that bars have yet to be made that can provide a barrier that Jesus love cannot penetrate. The truth hold sure for us as well. No matter where we are in life, no matter what we have done, The LORD loves the world and His love is strong. LORD, today may we come unto YOU and learn of YOU as you have invited us to do (Matthew 11:28-30). We will travel different routes today, carrying different burdens but nowhere we go can YOU not be found. We need YOUR love today and it is a tremendous blessing to know that it can be found.
