Ronny Deila after tonights 3-1 defeat & qualification to the knockout stages: Very happy to get through, but we wanted to do it ourselves. Salzburg are a very good football team. They are very direct, as we thought they would be. We opened the game very poorly; We conceded two easy goals - and one from a set play, which shouldnt happen. We put ourselves in a bad situation but Im encouraged by the fight they showed to get back in the game. Im proud of how we attacked them and put them under pressure in second half but we couldnt put it in. I didnt feel well after 15 min and being 2 down, but we fought ourselves into the match. The players did everything they could. The best team has gone through. Salzburg has shown they are a very good team. To win 5-1 in Zagreb and almost every other game. We have been the second best team and we have to fight further to go through to the last 16. I dont think a third placed UCL team is any better than the team we have met today. This is the standard. We have 1 game left in Zagreb which will be another match to prepare for but right now my thoughts are on game against Hearts They have a lot of things we want to be but still we showed some good things we can do in second half as well -Rory
