Rough day in rough air and uncomfortably close to mountaneous terrain at times. The flight plan requires that I fly straight into the side of a steeply rising mountain and break away at the last moment right after the last photo is taken. Going the other direction, I have to come straight down over the ridgeline nearly knocking squirrels out of tree tops to be at the required altitude before the next line begins. Two parachute jump zones and a ridge full of (sometimes hard to see) parasails and hang gliders in the project area kept me extra vigilant and concerned during the entire flight as well. Eventually, I scrapped the mission to plan for a safer executiion tomorrow. Most of the remaining work will have to be flown on a weekday for sure..
