Rs 50-Crore Parking Facility in Tirumala Soon . The TTD trust board, resolved to construct the complex with two blocks at an estimated cost of `50 crore at the TTB area. Each block can accommodate 750 cars. On an average, everyday 4,000 four-wheelers, 2,000 two-wheelers and 300 buses ply between Tirumala and Tirupati. The Board also decided to improve the quality of laddu prasadam. Briefing newsmen, Bapiraju said the board had decided to make a new Sahasranama Lakshmi Haram with 33 kg of gold for the diety during processions around the four Mada streets. The jewel works will be completed within 60 days. The present Sahasranama Lakshmi Haram at the Tirumala temple will be given to the Tiruchanur Temple. A donor Ramalinga Raju, said to be a close relative of the TTD chairman, came forward to donate the precious necklace which will be made at a cost of `11 crore. The TTD board assigned the work to the TTD jewellery section. The Board also gave its nod to construct an Annaprasadam complex at Tiruchanur with `5 crore which was also donated by Ramalinga Raju. The Board instructed the engineering department to arrange checking facility in front of all the shops in Tirumala particularly Bedi Anjaneya swamy temple. On providing medical reimbursement to TTD employees on a par with state government staff, the TTD decided to set up a committee with TTD chief medical officer, chief accounts officer, deputy EO (welfare), general manger - transport, and two trust board members for framing the guidelines. The Board also decided to reimburse `42 lakh to Rajeswari, widow of a TTD employee, who has been suffering from neurological problems. The board also gave its nod to purchase 35,000 tins of sunflower oil, 81 lakh kilos of sugar at a cost of `5.59 crore, 2 crore polythene covers to carry laddus, 22 lakh coconuts and 27,000 kilos of cardomom. The board has also decided to prepare a new golden Vakshasthala Lakshmi to Sri Kalyana Venakteswara Swamy at Srinivasa Mangapuram at a cost of Rs 64 lakh with 2 kg of gold,. amenities complex at Mattepalle near Lakshmi Nrusimha Swamy temple in Nalgonda at a cost of Rs 1.4 cr, Lord Venkateswara temple at Kotapalle in Piler of Chittoor district at a cost of Rs 65 lakh. The Board will also constitute local advisory committees to the temples and information centres in New Delhi and Hyderabad soon. The TTD Board has given a three-year extension to TTD Agama scholar Sri Sundaravadanacharylu. It also approved construction of new storage godown at Alipiri at a cost of Rs 6 crore to preserve human hair.
