Rumours : Martinez favours spurs.. Martinez has become one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe after arriving at Porto in 2012, bagging 81 goals in 118 outings in all competitions. Premier League trio Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have been trying to sign the Colombian since the summer, but he remained loyal to Porto. The 28-year-old is available for £27.5m due to a reported release clause in his contract. And according to todays reports, Martinez currently favours a move to Spurs, but intends to see out the rest of the season in Portugal. He is understood to be keen on a move to Englands top flight, but is put off by the level of competition up front at Arsenal and Liverpool. Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly looking to offload Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado at the end of the season to make room for Martinez.
