Running AROUND THE WORLDs IN 80 DAYS - day 80. Yes, in exactly 80 days, on April 11, 2014, I plan to be running around in circles at the Worlds 24-hour Competition in Turin, Italy. As an alternate, Im invited to attend, but I would go as an independent, not as a representative of the Nation I love, the good ol United States of America. Theres still is a chance I might move up, if one of the six spots on the team open up. If not, instead of wearing the Red, White, and Blue, Ill be wearing the Jester Nation colors. Either way it works out, itll be an honor jest to be there. Today, January 21, is also National Hugging Day 2015. So I want to reach out and give all of you in the Jester Nation a big virtual jester hug for supporting me throughout these last few years, and helping me become the runner I am today. Without your help, support, and inspiration, I wouldnt have had the performances that I needed to get on the team. So between now and April 11, Ill be posting on a daily basis (or near daily basis) about many different things running related, all leading up to the day of the BIG RACE. Until tomorrow . . .
