SATURDAY, 13THJULY 2013 THE PLACE CALLED "THERE" “Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 1 king 17:3-4 Here, Prophet Elijah had just imposed a natural disaster on the land. He forbade rain from falling in the land for a period of three and a halfyears. That automatically meant the land will no longer produce food and hunger and famine were to be the result. However we saw that immediately he made the pronouncement God showed up. And He told Elijah how that he had set up a strategy for his own survival, that is though all the people in the land will suffer hunger yet Elijah the cause of the famine will never know one day of hunger. All Elijah needed to do to enjoy this strategy was to go to a certain place God had defined to him. As long as Elijah stayed in that place, there was constant supply of resources to him day and night. Beloved, your struggles to make things work for you in life are unnecessary. And suffice it to say that there is no child of God who is disadvantaged save the one who is not ready to take God at His word. As greatly anointed as Elijah was he would have suffered or even died like any other person in the land if he had heard the word of God to go to the brook of Cherith and refused to obey it. This could have led to people blaspheming the name of God saying God could not take care of His prophet. It is no different today, do not bring dishonor and disgrace to the name of God by not staying in the word. God has taken His time to set up an unbeatable scheme for you to ensure that you live a life of continuous victory, outstanding success and durable prosperity. The key to enjoying it is in how far you are willing to go for the word though. The Prophet Isaiah said to us If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19). Elijah had to stay in a definite location to benefit from the supply of God. Today the word of God is your spiritual location. As you stay in the word, no weapon hatched out of hell can prosper against you. And all the help you can ever require in life will be made available to you. Stay in the word today and live a life of the miraculous.
