SEAM BINDING We have just bought a range of seam binding in a range of drop dead gorgeous soft, vintage colours. Seam binding is a densely woven, lightweight, thin rayon ribbon (about 1.5 cms wide ). It’s strong and has a bit of body to it. Seam binding is really versatile. It ties into lovely bows and can be used for all applications that you would normally use ribbons for. You can also scrunch it up, spray it with your Glimmer Mist, Pearl Mist or similar product and heat set it with your heat gun (carefully) or in the microwave for a few seconds. This results in a scrunched up, vintage looking ribbon. Seam binding has practical, boring uses too – to bind seams, as a hemming tape etc. We have some lovely colours now, but will be getting some more in next week. So next time you’re in the shop – have a look. Plus... IT”S CHEAP!!!! 45cents a metre.
