SERVICE ALERT - Missouri Kansas City, MO – The Postal Service continues to rebuild following tornado damage. Customers whose homes or businesses were destroyed or severely damaged by the storms and tornadoes in southwest Missouri may continue to can pick up their mail at the Baxter Springs, MO Post Office, located at 1115 Park Ave. Baxter Springs Post Office hours are 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon, and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The tornado resulted in 218 damaged homes, 56 destroyed, and 35 are re-building. Customers are encouraged to complete a temporary Change of Address request, in-person at the Baxter Springs Post Office, or online at usps.
