SHS Cross Country: PRINCE GEORGE’S INVITATIONAL: Nick Foy finished ninth in 16:44.90 and Benjamin Meister was close behind in 16:49.08 to place 10th and lead Chesapeake to a third-place finish. Charles Wood crossed the line in 17:30.01 to round out the top three runners for the Cougars. Alexander Laye ran a 17:32.73 to place 18th and led Arundel to fifth. Aaron Johnson’s 17:49.62 was good for 24th for the Wildcats, who got a 35th-place 18:09.45 out of Mack McKisson. Southern, led by Caleb Patton’s 19th-place 17:34.45, took seventh. David Kramer’s 17:59.57 was good for 30th, followed by Garrett Hunt (18:03.73) in 32nd. Clara Blevins ran a 20:39.32 to lead Chesapeake’s girls to fourth place. Taylor Coho (21:55.18) finished 25th, and Jordan Collins, who ran a 22:26.79, placed 33rd. Kennedy Keer’s 21:25.48 placed her in 18th to lead Arundel, which finished seventh. Macie Kouroupis (22:16.94) came in 28th place, followed by Colleen Roy (23:51.07) in 53rd. Mary Kasprzyk crossed in 21:35.46 -- a 19th-place finish -- to lead Southern to ninth. Zoe Kasprzyk (22:50.55) followed in 41st place, and Alyssa Ross (25:17.65) took 74th.
