SICK CAT, TICK CAT. WHAT A COMMUNITY. I want to thank the young woman who came to my door at 8:30 this morning to tell me one of our cats was out the front looking very unwell. (This is a photo if me looking very grateful). Those of you who know me, know that Im not the once heavy surfer I used to be, by which I mean both a surfer of heavy surf, and a rather rotund, leviathan like rider of surf; and as such was not able to get the crook cat. To my rescue came my terrific neighbours, Jackie JackieO Madden and Nick Bodhi Aldridge, who wrestled the cat of much illness into a laundry basket. They then drove it to our marvellous vets, where Merridie and Linda came out to help us, and the cat of crookness. The cat had a tick, and was/is not well. BUT. What a great community we live in. Thank you very much (said with heartfelt felines). So far no meows is good meows.
