SO much to be thankful for today! So Im going to just go on and list them. :) 1. My kids had a great first day of school. 2. My kids school is awesome, and is the God-given solution to our weird family dynamic. 3. I got confirmation that Ill be an official staff blogger for Asbury. 4. I found out that a sweet friends family is seeing their dream to be church planters come true, and this just makes me happy and reminds me that God invites us to dream his dreams, which are BIG. 5. I spent sweet time cooking with with two of my girls this evening. 6. I made plans to visit with not one but TWO amazing friends in North Carolina next month, one of which I havent seen in five years. Im going there to see my favorite Anglican priest/poet/musician give a lecture, which is kind of a bucket list item for me, so well do I respect him. 7. I was out and about a little after 5:00 this morning, which always invigorates me. 8. Lia met a new friend today who just had a birthday, so she went straight out and bought her a gift. It pleases my mama-heart to see her sweet and kind spirit. 9. Kate reached out with an idea for theatre and got a positive response, which made her happy. It pleases my mama-heart that she is both talented and assertive. 10. I got an A on both my last two major projects for my Doctrine/Polity class. Every day is not so extraordinarily full of good things, which is all the more reason we should show thanks when days like this come along. So this is me, saying out loud: I am thankful.
