SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT CHRISTIANITY HAS NO INTELLECTUAL CONTENT--NO IDEAS. IT IS ALL JUST SOME BIG FUZZY-WAZZY EXPERIENCE OR FEELING OF SOME SORT, OR A NEBULOUS AURA OF SOME KIND. Vagueness and indefiniteness is a plague. The ideas of Christianity are black and white, and they are very specific. They can be intellectually understood, if we but open our minds, and have the motivation to understand them. It is true that flesh and blood does not reveal the things of the Spirit. It is also true that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth who does not bear witness to doctrinal error. TRUTH AND ERROR ARE THE ISSUES, AND THESES ISSUES ARE ALWAYS RATIONALLY OBJECTIVE. That is why we have a WRITTEN word from God. It has been given to us for US TO UNDERSTANDING. Rationality, not personality, is the natural image of God in man. Rationality defines personality, and not the other way around. Rationality, therefore, is the substratum from which human distinctiveness and spiritual reality flows. SIN IS BELIEVING NOT ON CHRIST, BUT DO WE REALLY KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT HIM?
