SOS need your help to save a Roosting Tree of 300 Sparrows in Mumbai. Shree Nalanda Co-operative Housing Society in Malad, Mumbai has illegally destroyed a 26 year old Jamun tree which was the roosting site for 300 plus house sparrows. The reason for brutally destroying trees was only because of the dry falling leaves from the trees. Further destruction of the tree was stopped by Samaritan Mr. Milind Gawde and his wife who stood against 100+ adamant members of the society. The chairman of the Society threatened Mr.Gawde for opposing the tree cutting and asking for legal permission of tree.
