SOUTH CAROLINA No statute of limitation for any criminal prosecution I do Not understand this ,when i was 16 years old i was charged with breaking into a house ,i was positivley I.D. by a man that at 8pm at night said he saw me sitting in a car with 3 other people casing out a mans house .That night the mans gun collection was stolen after a man broke into his house..I volunteered to go to SLED Headquarters in Columbia and take a Polygraph test ( Lie Detector ) I passed it,I Knew i would....I am 6ft 1 ,i have dark hair, then i weighed 180 lbs.I was really proud when it came out in the Greenville news paper and The Anderson Independant that a Clemson Basketball player was arrested for the crime,he was 6ft 6 Blonde Hair and blue eyes,That really describes me to a tee,LOLthe guy was with his Dad on an Insurance Collection route and saw the gun collection. He was from Pickens,S.C. I always said to my father i can not wait until I find out who the man was that accused me of doing this,my Dad was a very mild mannered man, about 6 months later my dad came up to me and said I found out who said you were sitting in a car casing out the house, your old enough to make the right decision I was mad as hell,it was a man i went to church with.then I found out the man was dying with lung cancer,I let it go,but to this day it shows up on my criminal record,S.C. is one of the few states that after 7 years ,if its not a violent crime they take it off, what a backwards state and i was Born here !!!i do know about exspongement.I have paid enough for things i have not done,i refuse to pay for something i did not do !!
