SPAZZ FEST V = SUCCESS ON ALL FRONTS. I just woke myself up because there are SO SO MANY thank yous that go out to the folks that stepped up to help in making this year our BEST yet. Mamie Laura Rymer and Dennis Kay, --- this wouldnt have been possible without you involved. Bianca Shonetile and Uptown Greenville and all the sponsors -- what a great addition those tech/trep events were! Greenville Mixer for the helpful coverage. The on-hand people -- Erick Murillo, Sonny Chahal, Christina Cucurullo, Jommy Gemini Wesley Bryon, Kelli Curiotto, Jonathan Corujo and anyone who stepped in to help when we needed it. Delia Wakefield Liuzza and The Tipsy Teapot -- we will miss your direct involvement the most but look forward to the future of the space -- we hope our donation helped! Jack Bowen and Eric Benson and everyone at Peasants Pub. Christys Euro Pub and everyone there -- that Day Rager and Finale was one for the books. Backdoor Skate Shop and Billy -- what a celebration -- thanks for creating a scene we can still be proud of. Art Avenue ( Claire Edwards, Sarah Setzco, Andy Denton) -- Gulls set was the highlight of a lot of folks weekend -- GREAT JOB! The Greenville Museum of Art (Megan Maxwell) for hosting our SPAZZ LIT and SINGER SONGWRITER ROUND-ROBIN -- would love to work together again next year! Hard Times for letting us throw down a metal show thatll be hard to top (but well try!). Jonathan Stivers Bowling -- that after event blew my mind -- thank you for that and for the apartment to house the artists. Walker Williams and Dustin Sims -- the fire-pit sucked someone in but hes doing fine and that gathering was amazing. The Rat & Slug House *}Ooogleplex{* -- Ever Free -- the spirit is strong and we will endure (Ill help in any way I can). Sara Ward for cooking the most epic chicken and noshes + Aaron Brookshire for that pork shoulder that even my father begged me to bring back next year. Grannys Bakery and Audible Vibrations for holding down the outsider jammers. All the bands -- way too many to mention (100+ acts this year!). All the folks who hosted me, my fellow travelers, and the bands ( Talon Lucas, Anna Deatherage, William Kenneth Creech, etc.). Jeffrey Creech and David Styron Wood IV for getting me to the fest. Anyone I forgot to directly give props to -- I love you and thank you. AND for the folks who came out and supported: THANK YOU SO MUCH.
