STARCRASH is a good example of why Halle Berrys CATWOMAN is *not* - TopicsExpress

STARCRASH is a good example of why Halle Berrys CATWOMAN is *not* one of the worst movies of all time. STARCRASH by far, far exceeds its lack of quality. Poor, meandering script, banal dialog, terrible acting, bad direction, bad special effects… About the best that you can say for it is that the spacescapes were rather pretty in a tacky way. Also, Caroline Munros outfit, a black leather bikini bra and tiny hot pants with black leather boots over the knees, was certainly a better outfit than the one Catwoman wore. On the other hand, we only get to see Caroline Munro like this for the first half of the movie — during the latter half it looks like shes wearing baggy saran-wrap over the black bikini-like outfit, which definitely creates a sense of coitus interruptus. This movie was made by Roger Corman just after Star Wars to cash in on that popularity and as a vehicle for Ms. Munros physical charms (at least in the latter case, I cant fault them). The music was pretty much inspired by the James Bond movies with lots of blaring horns and trumpets during the action scenes. So far I still have just a few minutes to go, and it is *hard*, it is *torture*. Wish me luck, people! I definitely need closure here.
