STEPS TO REGAIN CONTROL OF YOUR ACCOUNT WHEN HACKED....... Hello your account is hacked and I can help you regain control of it. First let’s change your password so that the hackers can’t get back in... Go to top right of your page there is a down arrow by the word home.. Click that arrow, pick account settings you will see password. Go to the far right of password click the edit pencil and then change your password also Select “log me out of other devices” While you are there click name and verify it is your name. Log out of your account and Log back in using your New Password. Then go back to your Account Setting. Then click on the Security on the left side then go down to the Active Sessions. Click on the Edit pencil again make sure that all of those have been deleted if not then click on all of the End Activity. Now let’s go to your photos change your profile photo back to you. Change your cover photo back. Let’s remove the photo of the badge or any photo’s that the fake Facebook security loaded onto your account. Let’s click on the Apps on your left side. If you don’t use any of those Apps anymore you can X those out. Check and make sure that the Hacker didn’t add any there. If he did then you can X those out. Third check your list of friends for any “fake” FB Security. IF you have any you can delete those also. Then you can notify all of your friends to “NOT” click on any links that the hacker may have sent them. Now let’s log out of Facebook. Now go to the email address that Facebook has on file for you and change that password. Also any other accounts that you may use that email for. Hackers might have backtracked to it. Also if the hacker asks for your credit card information you will need to contact that credit card company and cancel that credit card. Now run a security scan on your computer.
