STOP PRESS! Now that we have hosted some Sachet Mixte Artist Residencies here in rural Central France, we have come to realise that our current set up is not fit for purpose. The studio which we have currently was originally meant to be for my sole use, but the Artist Residency Project seemed such a natural thing to offer members of the community that we decided to enable them to benefit from the space too. However, this has meant that it has been difficult for me to have access to the studio space during the time that other artists have been here on residency. Therefore after much consideration we have decided to re-locate to the South of France, where we have found a place which will enable us to invest in and develop the Sachet Mixte Artist Residency Project. It will enable visiting artists to have their own self-contained apartment which will include a private studio which overlooks the Pyrenees.
