STOP WORRYING ABOUT e-TOLL BILLS There have been many contrasting opinions about E-tolls, but we can tell you that the time to worry is not now (or ever if we get our way). People are still scared, thinking they’ll be arrested at the next roadblock they go through. But, rest assured, that is not going to happen. Citizens of Gauteng are receiving huge bills in the mail, and some of them even have pictures, but know that unless SANRAL can prove you got those bills (something they can’t do unless you sign for them), you do not need to worry. You will not be blacklisted if you haven’t paid, you can still renew your car license even if you don’t have an E-tag and there is no judge that has been appointed to preside over non-compliance with E-tolls as yet. Know that as citizens, you have rights. E-tolls go against the Consumer Protection Act. We didn’t ask for them, and we refuse to stand for them. [7am.co.za] Please share this info.
