SUMMER Blender Soups- Although these soups are RAW it really is okay to warm them up.. Especially if you need the warmth. Just dont boil if you want to stick to Raw. Here are some favorite soup recipes. We hope you enjoy them.. They are all made in the blender Vita Mix Creamy Carrot Soup - 3 c carrot juice,1 sm. avocado, 1/4 c lime juiced,2 tbsp raw honey, 1 tbsp minced ginger, 1/4 cayenne ( optional) sea salt, - Blend up in vita mix blender. I must warn you this is addictive.. Its easy to make too! FAVORITE xo Orange Pepper Curry Soup-1 ½ large orange bell pepper, 1 apple, peeled, 1 small avocado or ½ large one,½ cup basil leaves, 1 green onion, 1 clove garlic, 1 tablespoon curry powder, or to taste, salt, to taste, Dash cayenne, 2 cups water, or until desired consistency is reached. Blend up in the blender Simple Miso Soup-Water, Garlic, minced, Ginger, grated,Seaweed: piece of kombu and small handful of wakame, Miso, A few shitake mushrooms, sliced, Baby bok choi, sliced, Green onion. chopped red pepper. Warm up the water, seaweed, garlic and ginger on the stove for a few minutes to allow flavors to blend.Spread about 1 tbs of miso of your choice along the inside of a bowl. Add a little warm water and stir so as to dissolve the miso . Curried Yam Bisque-1 cup yam, 1-1/2 cup water, 2-3 tbsp raw honey, 1 tsp mint, 1/2 cup green apple1 tsp curry ( optional) Blend in the blender Broccoli Soup-3 cups water, 1 tsp raw honey or date paste, 2 cups broccoli chopped up, 1 avocado, 1 clove garlic, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 teaspoon chopped on in 1-1/2 tsp sea salt, 1/2 tsp cumin, dash of black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy in blender All these are raw recipes that can just be made in a blender . However feel free to heat them up as well and have your salads LOVE SOUP AND SALAD When it comes to salad anything goes. It really depends on what your body desires. We generally LOVE green salads. Here is one salad that includes every color of the rainbow and another that is mainly GREENS.. We always add sprouts and hemp seed for added protein, walnuts and and or pumpkin seeds for omegas and usually only use lemon and oil for a dressing One of our daily Colorful Salad - Kale, romaine, parsley, purple cabbage,red onion, orange and yellow peppers, currants, pumpkin seeds ( soak first ) sprouts usually sunflower, cucumber, radishes, shredded butternut , avocado squash, hemp seed I try to have every color of the rainbow GREEN SALAD OUR FAVORITE - Chop up kale, romaine, dandelion greens, arugula, spinach, parsley, basil, mint, avocado,cucumber, celery,pumpkin seed, hemp seed, chopped jalapeño ( seeded ) Drizzle with 2 lemons juiced 2 tbsp ground cashews and blend well in blender… Also when you make a salad make it in a large serving bowl.. And eat it all by yourself.. Chew ,chew and chew some more Feel free to make the salads. And be creative.. Thats the beauty of eating a real food .. Anything works! Pineapples, mangos, and spinach if thats what your body desires then do it.. Blend away. KEEP IT SIMPLE. If you are craving your body is telling you it needs the nutrients.. Remember the beauty of this is you can eat and should NOT be starving your self.. We can just hear those tiny cells slurping up that live energy...dancing and screaming and maybe even singing.. Plant omega fats (choose 2): walnuts, almonds, pecan,seeds of pumpkin, sunflower, chia, flax, or hemp. Dressing options: lemon, pepper, sea salt, Dijon mus- hard, apple cider vinegar other vinegar, cayenne pepper,1 tablespoon of ground up cashews Or just squeeze fresh lemon, sea salt and pepper
