SUNDAY THOUGHT: The water I drink, the food I eat, the clothes I wear, the bed I sleep on, are all determined by politics. Politics is about power and how it is used. Politics involves choosing sides in the struggle for power. So on which side are you? Not my words! Ngugi wa Thiongo in Wizard of the Crow put this words in the mouth of Nyawira. So dont tell me that this is not time for politics it is time for development. Those who say such words to scapegoat on tough life issues, imagine they are clever but they are fools. By definition, politics is about who gets what, when, and how. Critical thinking on this definition tells that politics is development. So why dont you want me to be interested in what I will get when and how? Those who tell us not to politik are those who have already gotten what they wanted and are satisfied. I cannot be satisfied when I know I have not gotten what I want and our country has a leadership that thinks, decides who gets what when and how (development ) from ethnic prism. Get this right, I politik because me too I want development like those who are satisfied.
