SUNDAYS HYBRID SOLAR ECLIPSE. All solar eclipse involve the moon getting right infront of the sun casting its shadow on the planet. BUT HERE WHY SUNDAYS HYBRID ECLIPSE IS SPECIAL. During the course of the day the moons distance from the spot where its shadow falls on earth changes in such away that it makes a transition from leaving some of the sun exposed to covering up the entire sun[moving from partial eclipse to total eclipse sun. However, the total phase of the hybrid solar eclipse wont be visible in kampala but will be observed as a partial solar eclipe where the moon will cover a large portion of the sun. This wil stil be a spectacular sight. Our dear neighbors in congo,DRC & Gabon wil be blessed to view the whole eclipses[total eclipse], NOTE if you are in uganda and would like to experience the total solar eclipse this sunday 3rd of november 2013 which is 2day please get the bus to Gulu. Here the total solar eclipse wil be visible. This wil take place between 4:06pm to 5:24pm{ 30mins}.
