SUZIE Q Female Dachshund - 6 Yrs. Old. 11.6 Lbs. Intake date 01/01/2015 Suzie Q was rescued from a puppy mill situation, she evidently was the Mill owners wife personal dog. The wife passed away and Suzie Q was returned into a cold barn to live all winter long in 2014. A kind hearted woman warmed up to Suzie Q and was able to catch & save her and get her to safety. We will never know the full story of what happened to her during her time at the Mill or if she was used to breed puppies or not. She seems to want the companionship of a women and is afraid of men.
