Due to recent scandals, France has been considering a law change that would limit the usage of the word "restaurant" to establishments BUT there are a few famed French chefs, such as Alain Ducasse and Joël Robuchon that have started an initiative to preserve France’s food image by creating a Restaurant de Qualité label.
