Safe Haven for Animals is a No-Kill Feline Shelter and an entirely volunteer run organization; there are no paid staff members, only dedicated animal lovers working hard to make a difference in the lives of homeless animals. We are currently looking for Monday, Tuesday or Saturday day shift cleaning helper or an every other Saturday night shift feeding helper. Morning cleaning includes refill dry food, water bowls, sweep or vacuum shelter and then mop, litter boxes and socialization. It takes about 2 to 3 hours but can be done in 2 hours once you get use to what needs to be done. Night feed is done anytime after 3 or 4pm but no later then 7pm at night. It includes giving wet food for all the kitties, scooping litter boxes, light sweeping (around the litter boxes), water bowls refilled and socialization. It takes about two hours.
