Sailing yesterday was indeed an entertaining outing. Stepped off the boat to affix spring lines, and stepped on a dock stool. The stool collapsed and I hit the dock with my upper shoulder and then did a header into the lake. They say that I disappeared for a while; however I think it was momentarily. Fortunately I always wear an inflatable life vest. That saved my ass. Doc in the ER relocated my shoulder and said that the break in the humorous is right in the ball that goes into the socket. A normal person would receive an artificial shoulder; however in my situation that arm will likely be in a sling permanently or at least for a fair while. Last night I was unable to wiggle fingers. That is sort of back now. And working on a follow-up orthopedic doctor appt.
