Description: Acts as the liaison among Brokers, Lenders, Account Execs and Underwriting in real estate mortgage transactions. Distributes workload amongst underwriters and monitors production but does not manage other employees. Coordinates with other work areas as required to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory deadlines. Resolves exceptions and problems of a more routine nature, referring more complex problems to Underwriters or manager as necessary. Prepares reports. Sorts and files correspondence, loan documents and other records. May perform other clerical duties. The incumbent needs good customer relations, good oral and written communication skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. 2 years of mortgage experience is required.
