Sami Khedira is keen to swap Real Madrid for Chelsea this winter, according to reports from the Daily Star . The German international is wanted by a host of clubs from the Premier League and across Europe and is believed to be ready to leave the La Liga giants in January. Khedira has grown frustrated with life in the Spanish capital, alerting the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal. But, Chelsea are believed to be the 26- year-old’s club of choice. Khedira is known to have a good working relationship with Jose Mourinho, and is ready to follow him to Stamford Bridge. ‘The Special One’ left Los Blancos over the summer to return to West London. He was linked with a move for his former star during the last transfer window, but was unable to secure a deal partly due to Real’s acceptance of Mesut Ozil’s exit. However, the Madrid giants are believed to be ready to sell this time around, with Chelsea leading the queue. But, Khedira won’t be allowed to leave on the cheap, with his employers set to demand a fee in the region of £40m for his signature.
