San Francisco is an incredible city. I greatly appreciate the art and overall architecture of the buildings and homes. Although people are squeezed in 49 square miles, there seems to be an overall positive outlook on life. Many tourist come to San Francisco to visit Pier 39, Fishermans Wharf, Alcatraz, the Golden gate bridge, and so much more. Today, I got to see what most tourist dont get to see, the brokenness of the inner city. Most of my day was spent in Tenderlion, where many of the residents are in desperate need of Christ and intervention and City Impact is really meeting those needs. Whether it was the smiles on the peoples faces in the rescue mission or the requests for prayer in the adopt a building program, it is evident that the love of Christ is being shown. I have learned that all God needs to start a movement is a man or women who is entirely committed to die to their small dreams and take on His dream and to do His work.
