Sarah says So I won my appeal weeks ago and was awarded higher rate Pip by the judge and panel who found our case compelling. They owe over a years backpay now. Ive called the dwp a few times to be told that my appeal has been agreed and is waiting for a case manager to release it. I phoned today and have been told that it hasnt been passed and they are still waiting for someone to pass it all I asked to speak to a manager, Im always polite and kind on the phone but asked why Ive been lied to, and questioned if its been passed or not whatever that means. Manager wont speak to me and they have said they cant tell me anymore. May take 8 weeks! Its ridiculous that its been going on for over a year, stress and lies and loss of my home, car and dignity. We dont have the money for bills and food let alone Christmas. They cant organis owing people money and paying, and yet I was sanctioned last month because my esa sick note was due the same day as payment, which I organised ahead of time, they couldnt cope with that even though I have to beg my gp to write it early. My esa assessment is also 8 months overdue. Upset doesnt even cover it. My thoughts are with all of us suffering this time of year. Beyond broken this system.
