Saturday 24th January 2015. Sitaram. Om hang Hanumate namaha. To him it is every moment of his life. To him taking the name of Shri Ramachandra , Jai Ram it enabled him to have light in the here now and light in the hear after. Constantly chanting the name of Shri Rama , he reminded the world that nothing is of value in this life or in its life time if the Rama does not give it value. So , in the Ramayana we are give many instances where he is always engaged in the chanting of the Lords name. To cross the ocean, to engage in the battle, to pacify SIta mata in Lanka , to signal his relation with SHri Ramachandra when shot by Bharat ji, chanting Shri Ramas name when he was bursting the beads in the ratanmala . What does this mean?It symbolically means that we are or should be constantly engaged in according to Hinduism in Yoga or prayer to God . That is to be in connectivity with the divine spirit. Now consider the lesson carefully. From Hanuman ji Baba we can conclude that prayer has two parts. The first is soliciting a favor from the Supreme and the other is surrendering our selves to his will. While the first part is practiced by most of us on a daily basis , the second part is the real and ultimate goal because it implies dedication. Dedication means feeling the light of God with our hearts . If the light of God divine is absent from with in you , one will not be happy, cheerful and successful in your lives. Now the important aspect of Hanuman ji is this . Your success like his depends on the inward state of your mind. It is your mind that creates hindrances in your work if it is not in communion with God because he alone is the permanent abode of peace. Yes , I agree that most of us want to have riches, healthy lives, nice children and a prosperous future. But if we always approach God with a begging attitude then we are treating Him as our bearer to supply things required by us at once. This is not devotion to God but devotion to our selfish desires. Why then did he chant the Lords name constantly . Learn from him the benefits as his life has thoughts. The power of prayer. Om jai Hanuman ji.
