Saturday Night Live actually has it right - this definitely sums up what a lot of people are thinking right now about these djs out there - For the short 15 years in this career I have had the privilege to pursue this as a way of life and show the crowds the Art and Skill of Djing. Funny satire aside - this is exactly why people are shaking their heads.. If you produce the record great... - then add something to your show. Dont just press play and Jesus pose all night. If you can create a masterpiece with production then surely you are creative enough to add something special to your show. How impressive would these shows be with out LED Screens and hundreds and thousands of dollars of production. Is it really about the music then ? Smoke and mirrors perhaps? Create something live.
