Saturdays Tactical Rifle 1 class was great. Thanks to all the students who came out. One of our students, Cian Perez, shared his take-aways from the class and has agreed to let me post them. 1. The philosophies taught in Tactical Carbine I parallel the material in defensive pistol training I have taken. This was very encouraging. 2. Wielding a carbine for 4 hours worth of drills takes its toll on skinny arms 3. Sling mounting is key. What is comfortable for rifle transport/carry may not necessarily be efficient for rifle presentation (i.e. aiming) and vice versa. 4. Rationale for magazine storage orientation/handling seem to follow pistol behavior. 5. Any semblance of physical prowess does not necessarily translate to rifle handling skills. He left this final comment... Today was really good for me, Eric. I learned more than I expected. It makes all the difference when you chose the class that is at the proper level for you. All the students in this class landed right where they should have been and walked away with marked improvement. Let SAFER USA help you advance your skills!
