Saundersfoot Harbour said in their response... I urge any concerned member of the community to meet with Michael Davies the Harbours Chief Executive Officer so that he may discuss the overall harbour strategy and clarify the Powell Dobson conceptual plans commissioned by Pembrokeshire County Council, as this was only a starting point by the Council to begin the debate, and at no time has the removal of the sensory garden been proposed by the Saundersfoot Harbour Commissioners. OK... so why do they not arrange a public meeting at the Regency Hall and tell everyone about their plans and the proposals put forward by Powell Dobson Urbanisation as reported by the Saundersfoot Community Council in which both options see the Coal Office demolished whilst the second option also sees the Sensory Gardens and Picnic Area turned into a car park, something they said they had not thought about. The Harbour Order of 1958 was setup to run the harbour for the benefit of the community. The harbour over the last few years has gone completely away from that and is not being run for the benefit of the village. If that was the case then villagers should be able to park on the harbour for free..!
