Saw this website today, and it reminded me that I should probably thank Deano Pape and Joe Hatcher for being the first to teach me that men could actually be feminists when I took their Gendered Lives class at Ripon College. It was one of those rare light bulb moments, and I still use examples from that class when I teach or talk about gender today. Anyone can (and, in my opinion, should) be a feminist. (Also, how it is possible that I took that class roughly a decade ago?) #HeForShe P.S. Youre right, Sapir. Emma Watson is way more impressive than I realized, and she seems like a great (albeit somewhat surprising) choice as ambassador for this cause.
