Scientific genius Nikola Tesla was born in July 1856 to Serbian parents in the village of Smiljan, Austrian Empire (modern-day Croatia). He died in January 7th, 1943 at 86 years of age in Hotel New Yorker, in Manhattan. Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current electrical supply system (wikipedia) if I would be fortunate to achieve some of my ideals, it would be on the behalf of the whole of humanity. If those hopes would become fulfilled, the most exiting thought would be that it is a deed of a Serb (Nikola Tesla) Tesla, who should have benefited enormously from his inventions died in relative poverty and obscurity, with pigeons as his latter day friends.
