Scots and Residents who have come to call our country home. Our time is now. Great Britain is a thing of the past, do not let its Greatness pull you in. Seperation is one of the ways we can symbolically walk away from our colonial past which Westminster desperately wants to maintain. Let us no longer be part of one of the Great Terrorist Powers. Together we may be stronger, but for too long we used this strength to oppress and conquer around the world. Let us have a fresh start. Let us make reparations. Some may say this is not the right time but as Tracy tells us, some things are now or never. Economies go up and down, bubbles inflate and catastrophically explode. Unionship will never protect us from this. Neither will independence, but it will let us decide our own fate. Let Rentons voice be heard, we can blame Westminster forever but it wont change a thing. We need to take responsibility for ourselves and become the people we claim to be. This is not petty nationalism, as Alasdair Gray tells us: the vaster the social unit, the less possible is true democracy, let us be part of a world wide trend towards smaller governments and more local action. We know what has to be done. Weve always known it.
