Second night, up with very little sleep. 2 llamas loose running El Dorado Forest land. Friday morning a appliance service man came onto the ranch to fix dishwasher. As he approached the electronic gate one of our herds of llamas was at the gate looking at him. Sign says do not open gate if llamas are there. Man punches in code, opens gate and lets out 7 llamas to run the forest! Tells Bill, I thought gate closed automatically!!?? 4 llamas came home 5 hours later. One, Vicki haltered and brought home the next morning, but the remaining 2 just keep ignoring out taunts of cob and even the calls of their herd, (best llama friends), and roam the 40 acres of land locked forest like they own it. We keep getting report from our neighbors on where and what the 2 llamas are doing. The experts tell us, they come back to the herd when they get lonesome
