See God… He’s right there. My prayer for us today…”Father, I come before you today humbled by the way you make yourself so evident to each one of us…. my friends and I. I know there have been times in all our lives where we allowed doubt about you to sneak into our spirit. I know there have been days we thought to ourselves, “Is God even there?” and prayed, “Where are you God?! Show me a sign!!” Today there is a quickening in my spirit that someone needs a gentle reminder that you are always there… always at work… always showing your presence. Your Book of Promises tells us that no matter where we are in the world, whoever we might be, or what any one of us could ever be going through, the reality that you are real is all around us. In it you tell us that you have made your truth obvious to all men. For ever since the world was created people have seen the earth and the sky. Through everything you have made, we can clearly see your invisible qualities--- your eternal power and divine nature. So, you tell us, no person has even one excuse for not knowing you. Remind me today, too, God. Let me not be too busy or jaded to see your majesty as the clouds roll by, to hear your grace in a child’s laughter, to sense your miraculous power in a rolling ocean. Let me not be too full of my own issues to miss the scent of your fragrance in smell of freshly cut grass, to feel the warmth of your love in the gentle summer breeze or to be overcome with your goodness as I watch the sun set. You are absolutely there, right there, right now. Amen.” (Romans 1:18-20)
