See us on Almasir Arabic Newspaper tomorrow To re emphasize my words, we support the president in reversing his decision and listening to the voices of women to meet the 25% which is constitutional. Reversing the previous decrees does not mean that the president is confused, it rather means that he listens and accepts changes and this shows some level of flexibility. Moreover the decrees are not written on stones, since the new cabinet has not been approved by the legislative assembly and had not been sworn in yet - there is always a room for change. We are happy for the appt. of the more women and we trust that they will deliver - this also proves that there are a lot of qualified women in South Sudan who are capable of being at leadership position and in decision making. One more thing the president should now do is to appoint a woman as a vice president - this will be record breaking and will make all the difference in this country. I strongly call on the president to take that decision and he will not regret it. Women can do it and bring the change we want to see in this country. Thank you, Rita
