Self Interest Comes First ... Not Social Justice What is all too apparent about posts regarding Zimbabwe (and/or SA) is how so many people trade in convenient untruths and suppress, deny, obfuscate inconvenient truths because they are beneficiaries of wrongdoing. Mind you this has ALWAYS been the case with human beings, whether it was those cheering Christians being fed to lions, Germans conniving at the Holocaust or supporters of the likes of Idi Amin and/or ISIS. Sadly many/most human beings dont care too much about human rights once their own selfish interests are being served. It is also the case that some of us are just cowards at heart. If you track our personal history you will see that from childhood we have never been able to stand up for what is right. In addition, we have some that are simply ignorant, mostly on account of the environment they have been subjected to. We see the same mentality in those who seek to laud Ian Smith as some sort of hero. Do you agree?
