Senior Business Analyst Government Department BPMN Essential Our government client requires a Senior Business Analyst for an in initial 7 month contract. Working in an agile software development environment, you will lead and undertake a variety of business transformation, process analysis and redesign activities to define a new business operating environment. You will work with business representatives to define innovative, practical and highly productive ways of doing business. This will involve designing new manual and automated business processes, work instructions, forms, templates and other business documentation. Selection criteria Knowledge and demonstrated skills to perform the job at a high level of accomplishment in the following key areas:- application of business analysis methodologies business process modelling and redesign business transformation design (eg significant change in organisational structure, roles operational activities, information processing and management) analysis and documentation of business requirement specifications and software requirement specifications. Previous experience producing documentation to support the development of ICT solutions, including high level BPMN diagrams, screen mockups, user requirements, UAT test plans and other system related documentation. Demonstrated experience working in an agile software development environment defining high level specification of requirements, and working with an agile team to build prototypes, advise and review developers work, facilitate testing and coordinate UAT. High level communication and interpersonal skills, relates well to people at all levels, uses diplomacy and tact, uses sound judgement on sensitive and confidential issues, builds constructive and effective relationships.
