Sent: Wednesday, April 23, 2014 5:15 PM Subject: To the attention of UAE Amba Princesa, DFA Usect Seguis, OWWA Admin Dimzon Dear Amba Princesa, (copied: DFA USect Seguis & OWWA Admin Dimzon) kindly pay attention to the numerous complaints of OFW vs. DFA UAE...meron ho silang mga suggestions to unclog the system: your staff, take shifts daw during lunch hours...maging user friendly ang online services, yung iba napuri nila ang sistema sa Riyadh, perhaps Amba Tago will share with you some tips as well as DFA Kuwait that some folks also complimented....sabi pa ho they want to call the attention of DFA USect Seguis & OWWA Admin Dimzon...also circulating are photos taken to prove how long are the lines OFWs has endure in obtaining consular services...2 days daw ho, one day to take a number, next day to come back to initiate transactions...reklamo pa toilets are dirty i myself can not offer any suggestion because all my personal contact here in SF California consulate are pleasant experiences...and to be fair you have been positively responsive to all my communications with you on behalf of OFWs, reason i decided to contact you regarding this incident am posting here just a couple of communications I received today regarding this matter Sincerely, Maria Elizabeth here goes: Philippine Embassy Abu-Dhabi. Its normal. However, I HOPE U GUYS TAKE SHIFT DURING LUNCH BREAK. Pls understand also that the people u serve has also personal issues like their home is very far from your location and they have to come early for whatever pupose they have... Some of them are hungy and thirsty, but canteen is out of reach..some of them came from night shift, some of them are pregnant and dizzy, some of them has still work to do but they came because its their schedule for renewal, some of them wants to use the comfort room, but the toilet u provided is some kind of smelly and dirty...when u say cut off , u really do it so strictly.. U even close the consular section door and ask the people to leave and come back at 1pm. Anyway, thats ur right..but do u know how hard it is for us? Some of us prefer to stay within ur office premises, with few chairs to sit on, as a result, we have to sit on the floor like beggars while waiting for u guys to resume to work. I made this letter just to comment on your service.. I hope it will be improve soon.. I also would like to think that u have enough profit or budget to serve us better. I would like to list your fees that u collected from us... Photocopy 1 aed for 2 copies, passport renewal 240aed, amendment 80, lost e passport 600aed, lost mrp gren passport 360aed. travel doc 120 aed , Authenticaton 100aed, notarial 100aed etc..I have no idea how many people are coming to your office everyday and how much have you collected.. But one thing in my mind.. Pls give us the best service we deserve, provide us comfort while we r under ur roof.. Come on if u make a small canteen u will stil have an income from it, if u make the toilet clean even though we need to pay an extra dirham for it, in my opinion it is better.. And most importantly, take shift during breaks..because OUR TIME IS ALSO PRECIOUS...
