Sept 29 - two doctor appointment today for Brad Wild. Brad saw the ENT Facial Plastics doctor who says he is showing improvement and the nerve appears to be in tact. The nerve needs time to heal and feels there will be significant improvement in the next 6-9 months. Doc suggested PT specialty for facial nerve retraining. We are checking into the program affiliated with Barnes. Brad also saw the eye doc specialist again today as last week one of the eyelid stitches popped open. In just one week the eye doc saw additional eye movement improvement and stated it was almost back to normal! So it was decided not to replace the eyelid stitch but he needs to keep using the eye drops and gel to keep the eye from becoming too dry. Hopefully this will work. He went back to work last week for half days and everything worked out well for him - no issues. He works half days again this week and then back to full time next week. He continues to move in the right direction. Next update wont be for a few weeks. Enjoy the fall weather everyone!
