Several people have asked me who to vote for in tomorrows - TopicsExpress

Several people have asked me who to vote for in tomorrows election. To be honest, I havent done as much research as I normally do, but here is what I have decided on (ENDORSE means strong opinion; VOTE FOR means not so strong opinion) Governor - ENDORSE not voting in this race. Candidates are very poor, and lower total numbers means that it will be easier for 3rd party candidates to get ballot access in following years. If a gun were put to my head, I would VOTE FOR Anita Rios (G) Attorney General - ENDORSE David Pepper (D) Auditor - Will VOTE FOR Bob Bridges (L), but I dont dislike Yost (R) Sec of State - Will VOTE FOR Kevin Knedler (L), but I dont dislike Husted (R) Treasurer - Will VOTE FOR Pillich (D)... but just because Mandel is icky Congress - Kind of a waste of time with the gerrymandered districts. All incumbents will win since these crazy districts mean that the Parties choose their voters - not the other way around. No Libertarians in the 3 Stark races unfortunately. I side a bit more with Republicans than Democrats, but our Rs are pretty bad too. Flip a coin. Sheriff - I will VOTE FOR Dordea. He knows the Constitution, and seems like a nice guy. Maier seems a bit icky to me. My hesitation on Dordea is his emphasis on combating victimless crimes, but... Levies - We have one in Jackson (police)... and although I have never voted against a local levy, Im still on the fence here. I like our department, but I keep seeing them aiding other municipalities in arresting people for victimless crimes. If they have that much time and resources to help other departments outside of Jackson, why do they need more money? There you go!
