Shalom Mispachah (Family). As I said, the choice is clear. Life and soul-saving knowledge that brings personal and spiritual power; or vain knowledge driven by lust and greed that brings death and damnation? If you appreciate the gift being offered, that has been offered the past 33 and 1/2 years, the number of years ironically that Jesus walked the earth, then you will show up and support what has been proven by time. My mother and I didnt come preaching you can get rich and go to heaven in style. We came preaching you were a sinner who could be forgiven and saved from sin, healed of your diseases and restored in your minds. We didnt come teaching you to hate your enemy, but we did teach you to beware, to fight and to stand for righteousness. We didnt teach that you should not live your life, but we did teach you to respect the price paid for the right to live it. And we taught that anything worth living for should also be worth dying for. If you are not prepared to die for what you believe, it is not worth believing. Isnt that what soldiers are taught to do? I dont drive a Bentley, live in a MacMansion, wear a rolex or walk around drenched in Jewelry expensive enough to buy a house, not that I dont deserve fine things. What I do try to wear is a robe of dignity and self-respect. We did not teach you that you were flawless or without error. What we did teach you is to strive for that that completes you as a whole man. Body, soul and spirit. The true meaning of perfection is COMPLETION. Diseases evolve out of incomplete genetic function. Sin arises out of incomplete righteousness. Which will you choose? Life or death? See you in the sanctuary today. Shalom. Rabbi
