Shalom! The Bible says: So Jesus answered and said, “Were there - TopicsExpress

Shalom! The Bible says: So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”(Luke 17:17-18). Jesus was teaching us about gratitude and thankfulness in this incident. When you read carefully this scripture you will notice that Jesus was disappointed, unhappy and maybe hurt because there were 10 lepers, destitutes, and outcasts whom He healed, but only one of them, a foreigner came back to Jesus to say thank you. Thank you is a very short sentence, but a very powerful one and it opens doors for many blessings in our lives. We must learn to be grateful both to men and to God even in small things. Greatfulness and thankfulness are words that attract blessings. Often time we focus on things that God has not yet done for us so that we fail to be grateful to Him for the many blessings He has already lavished us with, especially the breath of life He gives us every day. Often times we forget the good things our fellow humans have done for us and focus on their small mistakes so that we fail to appreciate them. My prayer for you I today is that we may develop a greatful heart both towards men and God. Be greatful to God and thank Him always in spite of the things you have been believing Him to do for you which He has not yet done. Count your blessings, Praise and worship God. Give thanksgiving offerings to God, especially in this season as we reach the end of this year 2014 and start a brand new year 2015, and you will see how God will bless you even beyond measures. Have a blessed Monday! Apostle Frank Matala
