Shani Diluka : I have been very impressed by that pianist since her first CD with Songs without words by Mendelssohn ... She recporded also a fantastic Beethovens second concerto (one of the best record of this concerto) and her last CD is absoluteély fantastic !!! I recomment you to run to buy it, you will have a real big crush ....... Below there are two videos, little pieces : a not well know Waltz of Chopin, but played with great inner emotion, and the fiorst Song without Word by Mendelssohn (sound average, but so good interpretation... classical interpretation, not too romantic, although a little bit too .. but with a very good control of dynamic in the two hands). I personnaly really wish to be able to hear her in a recital or a concert for real, not only on Youtube !!!!!!! This is her biography found on Wikipedia : Shani Diluka, born November 7, 1976 in Monaco is a born pianist Sri Lankan parents. She has had a program initiated by Princess Grace of Monaco, with which gifted children are offered special music lessons integrated schooling. She received the first prize of the Academy of Music (Foundation Prince Rainier III). She then studied at the Nice Conservatory with regional Odile Poisson, a student of Pierre Sancan. She entered the Paris Conservatoire in 1997, and pursues his training with Georges Pludermacher and François-Frédéric Guy and later Marie-Françoise Bucquet Nicholas Angelich and Bruno Rigutto. https://youtube/watch?v=ewLmCETf1HU https://youtube/watch?v=yXgAwG7UqdE
